It's October 3rd

If you didn't know what day it is, it's the day Aaron Samuels asked Cady what day it was.

But, all mean girls jokes aside, it's finally time to start thinking about halloween and thanksgiving!
depending on if you live in Canada or the US, you may have thanks giving next week or next month. But, I know that my house is all ready for the season!

As usual, I've been exploiting burgundy products wherever I can. For that, fall feel. But, to me fall's also about revisiting vintage fashions more than any other season. This cropped varsity knit and bell bottoms are a warm welcome with a little dash of Betty from Archie magazines. They're hidden from my hair, but I took some inspo from Scream Queens as well, and used burgundy ear muffs as a headband.

Back to Multi Tasking

Hat: Vineyard Vines | Top: Forever 21 |
Cardigan: Dynamite | Jeans: Topshop
Hey Friends!
It's been a while, Summer's ended, school is back in session and I'm anxiously waiting for fall to come back! You may have noticed I was gone for a couple of weeks and I was essentially handling the transition back into the life of multi-tasking once again.

Choker: Aldo | Sweater: Reebok | Bag: Marley Lilly
Jeans: American Eagle | Shoes: Ivanka Trump

When I say The Life of MultiTasking I'm referring to the amount of responsibilities I have to juggle at the moment. During the summer there's the usual Work, Friends, Self balance. But now that School is back in it's more of a School, Work, Friends, Self, Extra-Curriculars Balance. It's a significant extra weight; although it's doable, it definitely needs to be maneuvered skilfully.

Shoes: Adidas Super Stars | Jeans: Old Navy
Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I'm back to bring you some fun content and hopefully inspire a couple of fall transition looks. I've been really loving comfort with a side of glam lately. So, if it's mom jeans, I'll beat my face up! If it's a baggy sweater, some booty heels are the perfect trick. Although overwhelming at times, everything can be achieved if you take it from the right angle.
Same Outfit as above

Here's to hoping for a good semester and some sweet outfits!

Bahama Momma

Today, I'm breaking my leave of absence with a very serious topic. THRIFTING. I know, not exactly ground breaking stuff here. But, it's something I've been under rating for years.
I used to love thrifting, but somewhere along the line I got lazy (and honestly wasteful with my money). But, I've been so into the "Dad Closet" trend that I had to go back and rekindled my love with thrifting.

If you don't know what I mean by "Dad Closet", I mean oversized, vintage, effortless pieces that are comfy with a little edge to it. I went to my local value village and bought about 7 or 8 tee shirts for like $25 and it was miraculous.

Not only have I been getting my shit straight, I just got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. So, post-Op I had really no interest in wearing anything that wasn't comfy. So I chose this oversized tacky tourist shirt with a short pair of cutoffs poking out. Of course to kick up my street cred a little, I paired it with classic all white Nike Air Force One's.

Let me know in the comments if you'd want to see a series on thrifted pieces

"Casual Drinks"

The title says it all. When I hear the phrase 'casual drinks', I immediately think "wtf am I supposed to wear?!" A group chat message will usually guide you in the right direction, but this outfit was all about comfort while going out with the girls.

Now that it's summer time I like wearing things that Are great for on-the-go, because you really don't know where the plans will end up. This Kate Spade salmon cross bag is perfect for running around and cleaning up a casual look. Especially with the little bow design, I had to have it!

Classic White Converse are always the perfect match for a cool top knot! Today I did a half bun AKA the female man bun (TM) to show off some of my curls with out letting the whole mane loose. The different textures really stand out thanks to my balayaged highlights.

the dress itself is a basic black maxi dress I picked up at Old Navy and tied a side knot on to give it a bit more of an asymmetrical, textured look. I thought the neck was a little deep for a day time occasion, so I wore a plain grey Calvin Klein sports bra underneath.

As usual, I just paired everything off with my usual basic accessories. A vintage pearl necklace, a blue eye bracelet, and my Daniel Wellington watch.

Hope you guys liked this kind of post, if you did please let me know!
See y'all soon,

Kate Spade Loving

So, I picked up a pair of Kate Spade sandals a few weeks ago and they instantly became my shoe of the summer. They're comfortable, elegant, and unique to most similar styles!

Even more recently I picked up a leather strap bracelet (also from Kate Spade) that instantly stole my heart. It's gorgeous on it's own but I love to stack it with my Daniel Wellington Watch.

I got the shoes at the Hudson's Bay and the bracelet at a Kate Spade Outlet! The watch I picked up in Malta.

Happy hunting!
