It's October 3rd

If you didn't know what day it is, it's the day Aaron Samuels asked Cady what day it was.

But, all mean girls jokes aside, it's finally time to start thinking about halloween and thanksgiving!
depending on if you live in Canada or the US, you may have thanks giving next week or next month. But, I know that my house is all ready for the season!

As usual, I've been exploiting burgundy products wherever I can. For that, fall feel. But, to me fall's also about revisiting vintage fashions more than any other season. This cropped varsity knit and bell bottoms are a warm welcome with a little dash of Betty from Archie magazines. They're hidden from my hair, but I took some inspo from Scream Queens as well, and used burgundy ear muffs as a headband.

Falling for Autumn!

It's finally fall, my favourite season of the year!! it means cozy clothes, halloween, thanks giving and thennnn CHRISTMAS. I know we're a good way away from that, holiday season, but there's something about the temperature drop that I can't help but love!

You may also notice, I've gone much much darker with my hair. After having a balayage for a few months I wanted to try something completely new and out of the box. Literally, I bought a blue black box dye hair colour and gave myself a little make over. Since my hair was so light right before, it turned out almost navy coloured and it's been so much fun to get used to over the past few days.

The weather right now is at the, mild shiver in the morning and mild sweat in the afternoon, mark. Knowing how to dress for this is practically impossible, but the more layers you have, the more likely you are to get it right.

I broke out my burgundy and my thigh-high riding boots for the occasion of what felt like the first day of fall to me. If you know Canadian weather, there's never any stability in it, so I decided to take advantage of the day I had.

T-shirt Dress: H&M | Cardigan: Le Chateau
Bag: Marley Lilly | Boots: Chinese Laundry

I can't wait to be able to start throwing scarves and capes into the mix of things as well!
What's your favourite fall must have?

Back to Multi Tasking

Hat: Vineyard Vines | Top: Forever 21 |
Cardigan: Dynamite | Jeans: Topshop
Hey Friends!
It's been a while, Summer's ended, school is back in session and I'm anxiously waiting for fall to come back! You may have noticed I was gone for a couple of weeks and I was essentially handling the transition back into the life of multi-tasking once again.

Choker: Aldo | Sweater: Reebok | Bag: Marley Lilly
Jeans: American Eagle | Shoes: Ivanka Trump

When I say The Life of MultiTasking I'm referring to the amount of responsibilities I have to juggle at the moment. During the summer there's the usual Work, Friends, Self balance. But now that School is back in it's more of a School, Work, Friends, Self, Extra-Curriculars Balance. It's a significant extra weight; although it's doable, it definitely needs to be maneuvered skilfully.

Shoes: Adidas Super Stars | Jeans: Old Navy
Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I'm back to bring you some fun content and hopefully inspire a couple of fall transition looks. I've been really loving comfort with a side of glam lately. So, if it's mom jeans, I'll beat my face up! If it's a baggy sweater, some booty heels are the perfect trick. Although overwhelming at times, everything can be achieved if you take it from the right angle.
Same Outfit as above

Here's to hoping for a good semester and some sweet outfits!

Travel Diary: Florida Days 6+7

Here it is, the final travel diary of this vacation. As I'm writing this on my lunch break, it's only setting in more that I'm back to reality and the working grind again. But, all is well, these pictures give me tons of joy.

Day 6
Like I said in my last Travel diary, I was fighting a minor ear infection (self-diagnosed) so my family and I decided to stay in that day and not do anything too wild.

I used this time to catch up on my travel diary and edit my shopping Haul video (which you can view here) and I also just had some snacks, like the true piggy I love to be.
Eventually we picked outselves up and head down to the beach. Little did we know that the biggest storm of the whole trip was headed our way. So, we had to leave just as quick as we came, but I did get some cute pics first.
Shirt: Simply Southern
Sunglasses Strap: Vineyard Vines
Shorts: Lilly Pulitzer

Afterwards we got a little dressed up and went to my brothers absolute favourite restaurant, out back steak house.
Shirt: Marley Lilly
Shorts: (same) Lilly Pulitzer

Day 7

We started the day with iHop and head to Orlando for our final day at Universal Studios. Having been there quite a few times in our lives, my brother and I were glad to just spend the day at the Harry Potter attractions.

We road the train, and drank butter beer, and made some great memories for what was possibly our last time going as a family.

Sunnies: Rayban
Body Suit: Vintage
Skirt: Anerican Apparel
Shoes: New Balance

So I hope y'all liked this kind of series! Please let me know if you want to see more stuff like this in the future and what you want to see next!

"Casual Drinks"

The title says it all. When I hear the phrase 'casual drinks', I immediately think "wtf am I supposed to wear?!" A group chat message will usually guide you in the right direction, but this outfit was all about comfort while going out with the girls.

Now that it's summer time I like wearing things that Are great for on-the-go, because you really don't know where the plans will end up. This Kate Spade salmon cross bag is perfect for running around and cleaning up a casual look. Especially with the little bow design, I had to have it!

Classic White Converse are always the perfect match for a cool top knot! Today I did a half bun AKA the female man bun (TM) to show off some of my curls with out letting the whole mane loose. The different textures really stand out thanks to my balayaged highlights.

the dress itself is a basic black maxi dress I picked up at Old Navy and tied a side knot on to give it a bit more of an asymmetrical, textured look. I thought the neck was a little deep for a day time occasion, so I wore a plain grey Calvin Klein sports bra underneath.

As usual, I just paired everything off with my usual basic accessories. A vintage pearl necklace, a blue eye bracelet, and my Daniel Wellington watch.

Hope you guys liked this kind of post, if you did please let me know!
See y'all soon,

Stages of Life

I been gone for a couple of weeks, because life's been getting pretty crazy for me lately. I've been going to the gym more but most importantly my brother's graduated Highschool.

He'll be moving into university in a few months and it seems like then kids are really growing up. I was lucky enough to be a senior for my brothers freshman year of high school and guide him as much as I could, so now it's his turn to try out University with a few pointers from his not so big sis.
