Back to Multi Tasking

Hat: Vineyard Vines | Top: Forever 21 |
Cardigan: Dynamite | Jeans: Topshop
Hey Friends!
It's been a while, Summer's ended, school is back in session and I'm anxiously waiting for fall to come back! You may have noticed I was gone for a couple of weeks and I was essentially handling the transition back into the life of multi-tasking once again.

Choker: Aldo | Sweater: Reebok | Bag: Marley Lilly
Jeans: American Eagle | Shoes: Ivanka Trump

When I say The Life of MultiTasking I'm referring to the amount of responsibilities I have to juggle at the moment. During the summer there's the usual Work, Friends, Self balance. But now that School is back in it's more of a School, Work, Friends, Self, Extra-Curriculars Balance. It's a significant extra weight; although it's doable, it definitely needs to be maneuvered skilfully.

Shoes: Adidas Super Stars | Jeans: Old Navy
Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I'm back to bring you some fun content and hopefully inspire a couple of fall transition looks. I've been really loving comfort with a side of glam lately. So, if it's mom jeans, I'll beat my face up! If it's a baggy sweater, some booty heels are the perfect trick. Although overwhelming at times, everything can be achieved if you take it from the right angle.
Same Outfit as above

Here's to hoping for a good semester and some sweet outfits!

Bahama Momma

Today, I'm breaking my leave of absence with a very serious topic. THRIFTING. I know, not exactly ground breaking stuff here. But, it's something I've been under rating for years.
I used to love thrifting, but somewhere along the line I got lazy (and honestly wasteful with my money). But, I've been so into the "Dad Closet" trend that I had to go back and rekindled my love with thrifting.

If you don't know what I mean by "Dad Closet", I mean oversized, vintage, effortless pieces that are comfy with a little edge to it. I went to my local value village and bought about 7 or 8 tee shirts for like $25 and it was miraculous.

Not only have I been getting my shit straight, I just got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. So, post-Op I had really no interest in wearing anything that wasn't comfy. So I chose this oversized tacky tourist shirt with a short pair of cutoffs poking out. Of course to kick up my street cred a little, I paired it with classic all white Nike Air Force One's.

Let me know in the comments if you'd want to see a series on thrifted pieces
See yah soon,

Smells Like School Spirit

Four years ago I set off on the final chapter of my schooling. A BCOMM majoring in Retail Management. I started off wanting to be a buyer. On my first day the prof asked out class who wanted to be a buyer. About 80% of the class raise their hands (maybe around 100 students) and they quickly said, that by the end of our schooling maybe 10 or 15 of us would actually still want to pursue that.

Lo and behold, almost 4 years later, I have considered being almost everything in the field but a buyer. When I started off, I had a street style blog and was certain I wanted to go into fashion. The lines have blurred a lot since then. But, I've always been sure that I've wanted my own business.

I recently found so much happiness in throwing on one of my program's shirts and some slouchy shorts. I'm going to aim for a good mix of casual and more professional style for y'all.

What kind of style's your favourite?

Stages of Life

I been gone for a couple of weeks, because life's been getting pretty crazy for me lately. I've been going to the gym more but most importantly my brother's graduated Highschool.

He'll be moving into university in a few months and it seems like then kids are really growing up. I was lucky enough to be a senior for my brothers freshman year of high school and guide him as much as I could, so now it's his turn to try out University with a few pointers from his not so big sis.
